Rock Solid
Rock solid is a 16 week activity based programme for
11 – 14 year olds.
The programme has been running for over 10 years throughout the UK and has been developed by the International organization – Youth for Christ. There are currently 350 Rock Solid clubs running through out the UK.
Each session follows a different theme and covers topics such as opportunities, patience, rules, traveling and listening. Rock Solids aim is to share the good news of Jesus, relevantly to every young person on the programme.
It runs on Monday evenings from 6.30pm – 8pm at the United Reformed Church, Church Street in Kingsteignton. Admission is £1 and includes healthy snacks from the tuck bar.
Six main principles:
- fun and exciting activities
- a time to meet new friends
- develop life skills
- hear the good news about Jesus
- activity away day / overnight residential
- partnership with churches
